About the Artist
I've been passionate about art for as long as I can remember, filling notebooks with sketches throughout childhood before exploring a wide range of artistic mediums in school. During high school, I developed a strong interest in acrylic painting and participated in the Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE), advancing to the state competition during my sophomore and junior years.
After graduating, I attended the University of North Texas, where I studied art history and developed skills in traditional and digital media, including painting, sculpture, figure drawing, and illustration. Although I initially planned to become an art teacher or professor, I realized my true passion was animation and transferred to The University of Texas at Dallas to pursue a degree in Animation, Technology, and Emerging Communications (ATEC).
While at UTD, I studied under industry professionals and gained experience in storyboarding, 2D and 3D animation, character rigging, modeling, lighting, motion capture, and project management. Since graduating in December 2024, I have recently completed my first professional art and animation commissions with Nexus Gaming Lounge for Otaku Food Festival 2026 and GenCon 2026. I'm very excited to continue growing as an artist and animator while collaborating on creative projects and bringing imaginative worlds and characters to life.
